SPEAKERS
WORKSHOPS on Friday (choose 1 at checkout... included in Conference price)
#1 Your Body Is a Temple
We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 6:19) and that whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit (1 Cor 6:17) yet many of us either treat the body with contempt or with apathy. In an interactive and mindful way, this workshop aims to acknowledge and honor the connection between our bodies and the Spirit. Using Scripture, breath, and movement, Jeanie will guide you into an encounter with the Lord that is designed to use your mind and body to bring revelation and healing. Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move and a mat or towel. This is a workshop you won’t want to miss!
#2 Worshipping Creatively Through Movement
Have you ever felt confined just standing still during worship or felt like you had concrete shoes on your feet? Have you ever watched others dancing freely and longed to join in? Has the thought “I’d like to, but I’m not a dancer” ever crossed your mind? This creative movement workshop will give you the space to consider what it means to worship Him freely and fully – spirit, soul, and body! Explore your “why” for expressing worship through movement and identify “obstacles” that are blocking your freedom. Come and take your first step into discovering a new way to encounter and celebrate Him! Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in; sneakers, socks, or bare feet are acceptable.
#3 Conversations With The Father
A time of experiencing God’s voice through understanding of how God speaks to us. It will be an interactive time with God and each other as we hear what the Father wants to say to us (Jn. 16:13). This will both challenge us to go deeper and higher in our walk with God as we learn to be still and believe His Rhema word as personal truths in conjunction with the Logos word (Matt. 4:4).
