Prophetic Core Values
We at ALCC believe that prophecy:
Is always spoken in love.
Does not condemn or point out sin but instead, encourages, uplifts, edifies, empowers, strengthens, and creates hope in a person.
Confirms and/or agrees with Scripture.
Comes directly from the Father, Jesus, or Holy Spirit.
Eagerly pursue and righteousness to receive a word from the Lord, these include but are not limited to, seeing, hearing, feeling, knowing, and dreams.
Either foretells or forth-tells.
Should be judged by love and weighed carefully through scripture and godly counsel.
Prophecy is not a replacement for hearing God for yourself. All God’s children are created to hear his voice.
Not all are called to the Office of the Prophet, but all are called to eagerly desire to operate in the gift of the prophetic.
We do not prophesy beyond, add to, or take away from what the Lord has revealed.
About the Prophetic Ministry
The ALCC Prophetic Ministry exists to encourage, strengthen, and edify the Body of Christ through the gift of prophecy. Our team is committed to pursuing righteousness, growing in prophetic maturity, and operating in love and biblical alignment.
We recognize that we prophesy in part and believe that, as we seek God together, individual revelations can come together to provide greater clarity and encouragement to the Church. Our desire is to faithfully steward the prophetic gift and reveal the heart of God to His people.
